Dr. Alka Dahiya is a gynaecologic oncologist and senior consultant at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, specialising in the surgical management of ovarian, cervical, uterine and vulvar cancers. She trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at Government Medical College, Rajkot, before completing an MCh in gynaecologic oncology at Christian Medical College, Vellore, where she was recognised as a university gold medallist. Her practice centres on robotic and minimally invasive approaches to gynaecologic cancer surgery, including cytoreductive procedures and complex pelvic and para-aortic lymph node dissections. She has performed more than 5,000 cancer surgeries, including over 250 robotic procedures, and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
