The clinical content on this site comes from one source: live Jivo Masterclasses, in which senior specialists from Indian hospitals teach doctors across Africa. This page explains how that content is produced.

Articles

Each article is written by Jivo Healthcare from the transcript of a recorded masterclass. Articles are drafted with AI assistance and edited by the Jivo team. Every article names the masterclass it comes from, the specialist who taught it, the specialist’s title and hospital at the time of the session, and the date it was held, and links to the recording where one is available. The specialist taught the session; the article is not written by the specialist.

Articles report what the specialist taught. They do not add clinical claims, figures or patient cases that are not in the session. Patient cases are described without names or other details that could identify the patient.

Live Discussions

Each masterclass has one Live Discussion page with the questions doctors asked during the session and the answers given, taken from the transcript and edited for clarity without changing their meaning. A question is attributed to the doctor who asked it when the transcript identifies them; otherwise it is attributed to the session moderator.

Specialist titles and hospitals

A masterclass page shows the specialist’s title and hospital as they were on the day of the session. Specialist profile pages show their latest known title and hospital, which are updated when they change.

Treatment cost figures

Cost figures on treatment cost pages come from real cost quotations issued by Indian hospitals to international patients assisted by Jivo. They are indicative only. The cost for any patient depends on the hospital, the treating doctor and the investigations and diagnosis in their case.
