Dr. Arun Singh Danewa is a pediatric hemato-oncologist and bone marrow transplant specialist who has spent more than a decade treating childhood leukemias, thalassemia, sickle cell disease and pediatric solid tumors. He trained in pediatric oncology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, then completed a fellowship in bone marrow transplantation in Bengaluru before spending over four years at Fortis Memorial Research Institute building out its pediatric transplant program. He has performed more than 500 pediatric bone marrow transplants, spanning matched sibling, matched unrelated and haploidentical procedures, and continues clinical research into outcomes of stem cell transplantation for children with genetic blood disorders. He now leads pediatric hemato-oncology and bone marrow transplant care at Artemis Hospitals in Gurugram.
