Dr. Hrishikesh Pai is Medical Director of the Bloom IVF Group, which he built into a network of eight fertility centres across India, with a practice base spanning Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon and Mohali. He holds an MD along with FRCOG (Honorary, UK), MSc, FCPS and FICOG qualifications, and practises as a gynaecologist at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai and Fortis La Femme Hospital in New Delhi, alongside heading the IVF unit at D. Y. Patil Medical College in Navi Mumbai, where he also spent fourteen years as an honorary professor. He trained in IVF during a fellowship in Melbourne in 1989 and 1990 and was among the first ten clinicians to establish an IVF practice in India, building a career spanning 35 years in assisted reproduction. He has also served as an Assistant Professor at the Jones Institute in the United States and as FIGO's Regional Trustee for the Asia-Oceania region from 2023 to 2025.
