Indian Medical Visa for Lebanon Citizens
Lebanon is absent from the Indian government's e-Visa list, so the e-Medical visa does not apply to Lebanese citizens. The patient files a regular paper application at the Embassy of India in Beirut, together with the hospital's invitation letters that Jivo obtains.

What does the visa cost?
The Government of India sets the fee. It is paid at the Embassy of India in Beirut with the application.
What are the steps for a regular medical visa?
- The patient completes the application form at indianvisaonline.gov.in and prints a copy.
- The patient brings the printed form and the supporting documents to the Embassy of India in Beirut.
Which documents does the Embassy of India in Beirut ask for?
- The online application form, printed and signed, with a recent photograph
- The passport, valid for at least six months, with a copy
- A referral letter and medical reports from the patient's doctor or hospital in Lebanon
- The Indian hospital's invitation letter
- Proof of funds for the treatment and stay, such as a bank statement or a sponsor's letter
- For an attendant, proof of relationship with the patient
What if treatment runs longer than the visa?
The Embassy sets the validity of a regular visa. If treatment runs longer than the visa, the hospital and Jivo help the patient extend it on the e-FRRO portal.
