Indian Medical Visa for Republic of the Congo Citizens
The e-Medical visa is not available to citizens of the Republic of the Congo, which is not on the e-Visa list. The patient instead requests the regular medical visa at the Embassy of India in Brazzaville, supported by the hospital's invitation letters, which Jivo obtains.

What does the visa cost?
The Government of India sets the fee. It is paid at the Embassy of India in Brazzaville with the application.
Which documents does the Brazzaville mission ask for?
The patient completes the application form at indianvisaonline.gov.in, prints and signs it, and brings it to the Embassy with:
- The original passport with a copy, and recent passport-size photographs.
- A copy of the national identity card or residence permit.
- Medical reports establishing the need for treatment, translated into English, or a reference from the hospital or doctor.
- Proof of sufficient funds: a bank statement, salary certificate or sponsorship letter.
- The admission letter issued by the recognised hospital or doctor in India.
- A reservation for accommodation or a flight.
- The yellow fever vaccination card.
How long is the medical visa valid?
The Embassy generally issues a medical visa for up to one year, or for the period of treatment if that is shorter. A visa of up to six months allows single or multiple entry, and a longer one allows multiple entry. If treatment runs longer than the visa, the hospital and Jivo help the patient extend it on the e-FRRO portal.
