Indian Medical Visa for Syria Citizens
A Syrian patient obtains a regular medical visa on paper from the Indian mission in Syria. Syria is absent from the Government of India's e-Visa list, which rules out the e-Medical visa for Syrian citizens. The application is supported by the hospital's invitation letters, which Jivo obtains.

The Government of India sets the fee. It is paid at the Indian mission in Syria with the application.

- The patient completes the online form on indianvisaonline.gov.in and prints it.
- The patient submits the printed form and the supporting documents at the Indian mission in Syria.
Which documents does the Indian mission in Syria ask for?
- The online application form, printed and signed, with a recent photograph
- The passport, valid for at least six months, with a copy
- A referral letter and medical reports from the patient's doctor or hospital in Syria
- The Indian hospital's invitation letter
- Proof of funds for the treatment and stay, such as a bank statement or a sponsor's letter

What if treatment runs longer than the visa?
