How does an attendant apply?
An attendant cannot use the e-Medical Attendant visa, as Turkmenistan is not on the e-Visa list. Each attendant fills in the form on indianvisaonline.gov.in, prints it and carries it, with the documents, to the Embassy of India in Ashgabat.
What does the attendant pay?
The Government of India sets the fee. It is paid at the Embassy of India in Ashgabat with the application.
How do the invitation letters work for attendants?
The hospital issues two invitation letters: one on its letterhead, addressed to the Embassy of India in Ashgabat, and one generated on the FRRO system. Both list each attendant with the patient, by name, passport number and relationship. Jivo needs each attendant's passport details to request them.
