How does an attendant apply?

The e-Medical Attendant visa is not available to an Algerian attendant, because Algeria is not on the e-Visa list. Every attendant needs the paper visa: the printed form from indianvisaonline.gov.in goes to the Embassy of India in Algiers with the documents.

What does the attendant pay?

The Government of India sets the fee. It is paid at the Embassy of India in Algiers with the application.

How do the invitation letters work for attendants?

The hospital issues two invitation letters: one on its letterhead, addressed to the Embassy of India in Algiers, and one generated on the FRRO system. Both list each attendant with the patient, by name, passport number and relationship. Jivo needs each attendant's passport details to request them.
