How does an attendant apply?
An attendant cannot use the e-Medical Attendant visa, because the Central African Republic is not on the e-Visa list. Each attendant applies for the medical attendant visa at the Embassy together with the patient's regular medical visa.
What does the attendant pay?
The Government of India sets the fee. It is paid in cash at the Embassy counter in Kinshasa.
How do the invitation letters work for attendants?
The hospital issues two invitation letters: one on its letterhead, addressed to the Embassy of India in Kinshasa, and one generated on the FRRO system. Both list each attendant with the patient, by name, passport number and relationship. Jivo needs each attendant's passport details to request them.
