How does an attendant apply?

Guinea-Bissau is not on the e-Visa list, so the e-Medical Attendant visa is closed to attendants. They apply at the Embassy for their medical attendant visas at the same time as the patient's regular medical visa.

What does the attendant pay?

The Government of India sets the fee. It is deposited into the Embassy's bank account, and the receipt goes with the application.

How do the invitation letters work for attendants?

The hospital issues two invitation letters: one on its letterhead, addressed to the Embassy of India in Dakar, and one generated on the FRRO system. Both list each attendant with the patient, by name, passport number and relationship. Jivo needs each attendant's passport details to request them.
