Indian Medical Visa for Guinea-Bissau Citizens

A Bissau-Guinean patient needs a regular medical visa, applied for on paper at the Embassy of India in Dakar. Guinea-Bissau is not on the e-Visa list, so the e-Medical visa is not available to its citizens. The hospital's invitation letters, obtained by Jivo, go with the application.

What does the visa cost?

The Government of India sets the fee. It is deposited into the Embassy's bank account, and the receipt goes with the application.

Which documents does the Embassy of India in Dakar ask for?

  • A copy of the current passport
  • The duly filled-in application form
  • A copy of the residence permit or national identity card
  • Copies of the current bank statements
  • A flight reservation
  • The receipt for the visa payment deposit
  • A copy of the valid yellow fever vaccination card
