How does an attendant apply?
Because Iraq is off the e-Visa list, an Iraqi attendant has no e-Medical Attendant option. Each attendant applies on paper like the patient, and the hospital endorses the attendant's name and passport number in its invitation letter.
What does the attendant pay?
The Government of India sets the fee.
How do the invitation letters work for attendants?
The hospital issues two invitation letters: one on its letterhead, addressed to the Embassy of India in Baghdad, and one generated on the FRRO system. Both list each attendant with the patient, by name, passport number and relationship. Jivo needs each attendant's passport details to request them.
