Medical Attendant Visa and Invitation Letter for Qatar
Up to two attendants can accompany a Qatari patient on e-Medical Attendant visas. A regular medical attendant visa from the Embassy of India in Doha covers one attendant, for the same period as the patient's medical visa.

How does an attendant apply online?
Each attendant files a separate application, uploads the passport bio page and gives a working email address. The portal sends any re-upload request and the decision to that address within about three working days. The attendant shows the Electronic Travel Authorization at immigration in India.
What does the attendant pay?
The Government of India sets the fee. It is shown and paid online during an e-Medical Attendant application, or paid at the Embassy for a regular visa.
What does the Embassy of India in Doha require?
An attendant applying at the Embassy completes the same online form as the patient, prints and signs it and submits it in person with the documents. The hospital's admission letter names the attendant, and the attendant's passport, QID or work permit copy and photographs go with the application.
How do the invitation letters work for attendants?
The hospital issues two invitation letters: one on its letterhead, addressed to the Indian mission, and one generated on the FRRO system. Both list each attendant with the patient, by name, passport number and relationship. Jivo needs each attendant's passport details to request them.
