Jivo holds hospital estimates for vitreoretinal surgery, for the heart operations coronary bypass, angioplasty with a stent and aortic valve replacement, and for bariatric surgery. The urology and kidney group is kidney stone surgery, nephrectomy, kidney transplant, HoLEP and TURP.
Which Jivo specialists conducted a Masterclass on these treatments?
In urology, the Jivo Masterclass of 23 November 2025 was conducted by Dr. Yajvender Pratap Singh Rana for international doctors and covered benign prostate disease, kidney stones, robotic surgery and kidney transplant; his recording, article series and profile are on record. Dr. Shafiq Ahmed conducted one on innovative strategies in renal transplant care on 12 April 2026.

What does a procedure range show?
Every procedure carries the range of hospital estimates behind it, with the number of estimates and the span of years. For one patient the hospital sets the figure once its specialist has reviewed the reports.
Which languages do South African patients use?
English is one of South Africa's eleven spoken official languages, alongside isiZulu, isiXhosa, Afrikaans and seven others, and Jivo's consultations with patients and specialists are held in English.
How does a patient from South Africa start?
A South African patient sends the reports to Jivo on WhatsApp. A named Indian specialist reviews them and the partner hospital supplies its estimate for the case. South Africa is on the e-visa list, so the e-Medical visa is open to South African citizens. Up to two attendants can travel with the patient.
Neither Johannesburg nor Cape Town has a non-stop flight to Delhi; the routes are set out separately. The High Commission of India in Pretoria works with Consulates General in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, and its regular route asks for a recommendation from a South African or Lesotho doctor. The partner hospital, which is FRRO-registered like every Jivo partner hospital, issues the Visa Invitation Letter, and Jivo arranges it with the hospital for every patient. The process for patients covers each stage, starting with the first message and ending with follow-up by the home doctor.
