Attendant Visa and Invitation Letter for Sierra Leone
Up to two attendants can accompany a Sierra Leonean patient on e-Medical Attendant visas. The partner hospital, which is FRRO-registered like every Jivo partner hospital, issues the Visa Invitation Letter, and Jivo arranges it with the hospital for every patient.

How many attendants may travel?
For one e-Medical visa the portal grants as many as two e-Medical Attendant visas. Sierra Leone is on the portal's list of e-Visa countries, so each attendant can apply online, once Jivo has confirmed the route with the High Commission of India in Freetown.
What does an attendant send?
An attendant files a separate application on the portal with a scan of the passport's bio page.
What does the attendant pay?
The visa fee is set by the Government of India and paid online with the application (or at the Indian mission for a paper visa); Jivo confirms the current fee with you before you apply.
Which letter supports the file?
The patient's application carries the hospital letter on letterhead. The partner hospital, which is FRRO-registered like every Jivo partner hospital, issues the Visa Invitation Letter, and Jivo arranges it with the hospital for every patient.
How long does an attendant's visa last?
Validity is 60 days from first arrival in India for the e-Medical Attendant visa as well, and the passport is stamped for each entry within that period.
The portal's timing rules apply to every application: submission at least 4 days before arrival and no more than 120 days ahead, with the outcome, Granted or Rejected, emailed.
How does an attendant fly to Delhi?
No airline flies from Freetown (Lungi) to Delhi non-stop; the travel and stay guide sets out the one- and two-stop routes. An attendant books their own flight with the airline or a local agent once the visa is granted, and Jivo organises the airport pickup in Delhi. The patient's visa steps for Sierra Leone are in the medical visa guide.
