How long does a Malawian patient stay in India?

A radiotherapy patient should allow six to eight weeks, chemotherapy takes seven to nine weeks and immunotherapy five to six. Radical hysterectomy and coronary artery bypass grafting take three to four weeks, and kidney transplant eight to ten. Spinal decompression and fixation, and hip or knee replacement, take two to three weeks. These ranges are a guide, and the specialist confirms each patient's expected stay.

What do Malawian rules require when carrying foreign currency?

Under the Reserve Bank of Malawi's notices, a traveller may not take more than one thousand US dollars, or the equivalent, out of Malawi without evidence that the currency was bought from an authorised dealer, or without the Bank's permission. Without the Bank's permission, a traveller may also take out no more than the equivalent of one hundred US dollars in kwacha.
